Who We Are

Mission Support is a provider of digital tools and technology APIs focused on helping organizations, enterprises, and agencies succeed in their cybersecurity efforts. With many years of Red Team and Blue Team experience, we realize high-caliber cybersecurity teams may not harbor engineering skills by trade, leaving them to build non-ideal processes around ready-made tooling and off-the-shelf InfoSec capabilities. This can lead to clunky processes and awkward workflows to accomodate tooling gaps and mission misalignments -- missions are made to fit the tools, rather than the tools made to fit the mission. Worse, InfoSec staff may waste significant mission hours orchestrating multiple tools or APIs to aggregate into the desired mission value, because many off-the-shelf capabilities are too raw or lack enrichment to be usable as-is.

Datastore Scanner

Buried in the depths of data lakes lie potentially devastating data exposures -- but Red Teams and Blue Teams alike are ill-equipped to deal with these massively sized resources -- often billions of files amounting to petabytes of information. Off-the-shelf tools simply do not scale to data lake sizes.

The Mission Support Datastore Scanner provides customers the ability to scan, inventory, and classify data in cloud datastores such as AWS S3 Buckets and Azure Blobs, specifically addressing the need for data classification technology that can operate on data lake-class storage targets. Compliance teams can verify data age/retention and encryption policies, Red teams can quickly sift through contents to identify exfiltration targets of interest, and Blue / Legal teams can verify the extent of potential PII leaks and data exposures.
